Tablets

Plaques, historical markers, war memorials, or tablets--George Honig made over a hundred. Many are documented in the states listed below. They probably represented a major source of income through the lean years of the depression and world wars.

These tablets are scattered across the country and more will be added to the list as time and fortune allow.

This is Honig's first tablet, circa 1918. The photo on the left, courtesy of Willard Library, is how it looked before being dedicated. On the right is how it looked in 2003 as it is being absorbed into a tree on Second Street in Evansville, Indiana. The photo at the bottom was taken shortly after the dedication showing a young tree.
