Location: South Spencer High School is located in Reo, Indiana, at the intersection of Highways 66 and 161.

Photo taken 2001. The plaque hangs on the Scholarship Wall in the east hallway of the South Spencer High School. This replica was made by Grandview Aluminum from an original by George Honig. The original plaque was made for a bank and also appeared on a sign, no longer in existence, at the entrance to the Lincoln Pioneer Village in Rockport, Indiana. Grandview Aluminum acquired the plaque from a scrap pile at J. Murray Blue Surplus in Henderson, Kentucky.

Looking carefully under the word Lincoln, one can see where words have been removed. This plaque was recycled by George from one created for a bank believed to be in Evansville at one time. The words read Lincoln Savings Bank.
