A close-up of the detail of the plaque. In 2007, the reaper still existed that was used as a place to kneel and pray. A sign above the old reaper has the names of people who have prayed there--Dr. Ernest Reveal, Billy Graham, Billy Sunday, Bob Jones, Sr., Bob Jones III, and Sgt. Alvin C. York are among the many listed.

Camp Reveal Paintings

Amazingly, inside the old chapel are two huge paintings hung near the ceiling. This one does not have Honig's name but is in his style. This painting is 8 1/2 to 9 feet wide and 6 feet tall.

Camp Reveal Paintings

This beautiful painting is huge, measuring 16 1/2 feet wide and 6 feet tall. One staff member stated that a loft was being planned and the paintings would probably be removed. She was wondering if someone would be interested in them. It would be a shame to lose such great works of art.

This is a close-up of Honig's name on the painting. It is believed the painting was made in 1918 and hung in 1946.
