George Honig Falls Two Floors

George Honig, 86-year old patient at the Ingle Smith Nursing Home in Evansville, escaped serious injury Wednesday although he fell from the second floor of the nursing home. Mr. Honig decided to leave and crawled through a window. He fell into the grass below and suffered only a skinned elbow.

Honig, a former Rockport resident, is a widely known sculptor. He designed and supervised construction of the Lincoln Pioneer Village here.
