Vitus Honig Dead

Vitus Honig, a well known business man of this city died at the home of his sister-in-law Mrs. John Roth in Evansville last Saturday morning at 6 o'clock. Mr. Honig and wife had been in Evansville for several weeks where he had been in a sanitarium for treatment. The deceased was forty seven years of age and is survived by his wife, father and mother, three sisters, Mrs. Callie john of Mattoon, illinois, Mrs. Henry Kersteins and Miss Rose Honig of this city and four brothers, Albert and Simon of St. Louis, George of New York, and Frank of Louisville, Kentucky.

The funeral services were held Monday morning at 8 o'clock from the church of Assumption in Evansville, Rev. Father McBarron officiating. The interment was in the St. Joseph's cemetery in Evansville.
