Rockport Sculptor To Write New Book About Lincoln

There's no telling when it will be ready for the printers, but there's a new book about Abraham Lincoln on the way.

It is a book that deals with the boy Lincoln and his years, the formative years in Indiana. Far from being the dry, historical volume the book is intended by its author to read quickly, like a novel. But still it will follow the exact historical background.

The book is being written by George Honig, Rockport, Ind., sculptor and designer of the Rockport Lincoln Pioneer Village, who has been gathering material for it for 25 years.

It will be different in that it's author will also draw the illustrating sketches.
